Desert Group’s pottery division produces handmade GRP pots and planters in Dubai. Every piece is hand-laid, finished and inspected in-house, with bespoke shapes, sizes and colours available on request.
Materials & Finishes
Glass reinforced plastic, finished by hand
Every planter is made from GRP (glass-reinforced plastic, or fibreglass), making it lightweight, weather- and impact-resistant, and well suited to the UAE climate. GRP can be produced in almost any shape, size and colour, and is far easier to move and install than concrete or ceramic.

Gel Coat Finish
A pigmented gel coat is applied in the mould, giving a smooth, colour-fast surface available in matt or glossy sheen.
Textured Finish
Hand-applied aggregates create stone-like, sand-blasted and ribbed textures for a more natural, tactile surface.
Standard colours
All catalogue items are available in the five standard colours below, in a matt or glossy sheen. Bespoke colour matching is available on request.
